PBB movie has won an award!

Pacific Black Box is excited to announce that the movie 'An Uncertain Future', made by young people attending the Pacific Black Box 2008 forum in Bougainville, has won the Community Prophets Award in the 2008 Human Rights Film Festival.
This award, presented by Community Prophets founder David Vadiveloo, is awarded to the film that best demonstrates a creative process that empowers young people and marginalised communities.
Pacific Black Box members are pleased that the young people who made this film have been recognised for telling their own story of the personal experience of climate change effects and relocation, rather than having others do it for them.
Community Prophets, presenting the award, is an organisation working with marginalised communities around the world,fostering and creating high production value screenworks that build long-term capacity, facilitate agency amongst youth and inspire new stories of empowerment.
