2009 project

Over the past 6-months, Pacific Black Box has been working with the youth from three Bougainville communities to continue providing basic media training and to research the best approach to ensure continued and sustainable support in audio-visual media.

The six months of outreach to communities and a one week youth forum culminated in a public ceremony in Buka town, in which all participants were presented with the Community Prophets award and a public screening held of An Uncertain Future.

Taloi Havini is still in Bougainville working on the development of a three year plan for Pacific Black Box to continue working across the North, Central and South provinces of the country.
